A new phase of work begins for Logistop following the elaboration and presentation at the International Logistics Salon (SIL 2007) of the document “Strategic View for 2020 for Integrated Logistics in Spain”, considering the long-term goals of the sector, and the subsequent development of the “Strategic Research Agenda” (SRA), which details the key actions to develop in order to reach those long-term sectoral goals. This new phase focuses on the development of R&D&I projects and specific actions for the implementation of the SRA. The most notable areas of activity at this stage include:
- Supporting the development and launch of R&D&I projects. Implementation of SRA actions. Logistop applies a work methodology and plan that helps to strengthen the link between the sector’s R&D&I needs and the agents of the system capable of responding to those needs; channelling and providing technical support to the configuration of initiatives to secure public financing and articulate this relationship with the Administration.
- Projection of the Platform. Aimed at increasing awareness about the network’s actions, increasing its critical mass through the incorporation of new active members and establishing collaborations with the platform’s national, European and international stakeholders.
- Dissemination and transfer of R&D&I results to the business environment. Actions aimed at supporting the dissemination and transfer of research results generated by the platform’s scientific and technological agents, promoting them among companies and other entities potentially interested in their operation.
- Monitoring and implementation of Logistop’s SRA, following R&D&I activities and projects conducted by members, establishing SRA progress and review milestones.
